I hate Krabbe disease. 

As Krabbe rapidly destroyed Judson’s body in five months, right before our eyes, and we watched our boy suffer and die at the hand of this horrendous affliction, my disdain for Krabbe has grown.

I absolutely abohr Krabbe disease.

Even more so, I hate, loathe, and despise the enemy who created Krabbe disease, the enemy that has come to steal, kill, and destroy in this world (John 10:10).  He has sought to steal our faith by killing our boy, and ultimately desiring to destroy our spirits; he wants to crush our family.

The Lord has allowed Satan reign here on this earth, evidenced by the wretchedness of this disease, and we have been struck, but the enemy will not reign in our hearts. 

We may ache, bleed, and writhe in pain, but our hearts are also filled with the peace, comfort, and hope found in the abundant life offered though Christ.
