Dear Jud…
You are everywhere.
I see you in Jessie. I see you in Lightening McQueen, Mickey Mouse, and Thomas the Tank Engine. I see you at every playground and park. I see you in every dandelion. I see you in every fountain. I see you in every car, truck, van, bus, or SUV. I see you in every construction vehicle, every airplane, every train, and every helicopter. I see you at every carousel. I see you in every sprinkler. I see you in every roly-poly, every fish, every duck, every lizard, and every bug. I see you in every ball. I see you in every block or Lego. I see you in every cup of coffee. I see you at every mall. I see you in pancakes, fruit bars, spaghetti, popcorn, “Snap Pea Crisps,” macaroni and cheese, mango, and “O’s.” I see you in every children’s book. I see you in every 2-4 year old boy.
Everywhere I have ever been with you, I see you. Every new place I go, I imagine you.
Others may not realize how I see you every moment, in everything, and that my thoughts are constantly on you; I am learning to live and mourn simultaneously. But I still see you everywhere. And though it aches to see you because I miss you with every beat of my heart, I desperately want to see you because you are such a blessing and joy.
I see you Judson. You are beautiful.
With every ounce of my love,
Mommy
