Dear family and friends,

It is hard to believe that we have now been living three months without Judson; it is even harder to believe that we have to live the rest of our lives without him. We miss him terribly!!!

We are in the depths of our grief and it feels relentless at times, but we continue to yield our hearts to the Giver and Taker of Life, recognizing the blessing He has given us in Jud. As I wrote in one of my blogs, “we will sit in the pain of his death because we gladly accepted the gift of his life, and what a great and unexpected gift he was, and still is!”

Practically speaking, it feels as though our bodies are run down and we are experiencing the repercussions of such-we have been fighting illness on a regular basis. All three of us have been up against one sickness after another, and when you don’t feel good, it is much harder to cope with everything else in life. We would love to be well!

We have one thing we are particularly excited about…some dear families at our church have pulled together to send Drake and me on an 8 day trip to Kauai in March. Jessie will be staying with family and friends during that time, so it will be a true vacation. We are EXTREMELY grateful and cannot wait until we are boarding the Aloha Airlines!!!

We continue to be so thankful to all of you who continue to walk this journey with us!!
